Dr. Leedy and his staff were easy to work with and worked closely with me to ensure I felt comfortable and prepared. From scheduling, to the actual surgery, and through the recovery, I am extremely happy with the entire process. On top of that, the results of my surgery could not have turned out better. I would highly recommend Dr. Leedy!

What is a Mommy Makeover?
A Mommy Makeover is a combination procedure that usually consists of a Tummy Tuck, or abdominoplasty, and a Breast Augmentation, though it can include additional procedures. There are specific changes in the body that might not bounce back after pregnancy — even with a healthy diet and regular exercise. The goal of the Mommy Makeover procedure is to restore the figure and appearance of a woman’s body to her prechildbearing self.
A Mommy Makeover at the Cleveland Plastic Surgery Institute is an excellent way to achieve the figure you desire.
What does a Mommy Makeover consist of?
- Breast augmentation
- Brazilian butt lift
- Tummy tuck
- Coolsculpting
- Liposuction
- Labiaplasty
In most cases, more than one of these surgeries is combined into one mommy makeover.

To determine if a Mommy Makeover is right for you, meet with the Cleveland Plastic Surgery Institute team to discuss your desired results and medical history. Our office will complete a physical exam to evaluate areas of your body you’re concerned about before tailoring a treatment plan best suited to your unique needs.
You do not have to be a mother to receive this treatment.
You must be at or close to a healthy body weight to achieve the best results. While a Mommy Makeover can reduce excess fat and sagging tissues, it’s not designed as a weight loss treatment. It is recommended to wait 6 months after childbirth before scheduling your Mommy Makeover. You should also be finished having children because becoming pregnant after undergoing a Mommy Makeover will change your results.
Follow your provider’s instructions to prepare for a Mommy Makeover at the Cleveland Plastic Surgery Institute. You often need a pre surgery evaluation that can include blood tests, a mammogram, and other diagnostic procedures.
Arrange for someone to drive you home after the procedure, stop taking specific medicines if asked, and avoid food and drink the morning of your surgery.
Before surgery, you will receive anesthesia to make you fall asleep and to avoid discomfort. Once you’re asleep, your provider makes incisions and completes a tummy tuck, breast surgery, liposuction, or several surgeries.
The more procedures your surgeon completes, the longer the surgery will take. Afterward, they take you to a recovery area.
After a Mommy Makeover, have someone drive you home and stay with you. Get plenty of rest and take all medicines as directed. You might have temporary drains in your body to eliminate excess fluids that accumulate during healing. Empty the drains as needed and avoid strenuous activity until your surgeon gives you the OK.
Swelling, tenderness, redness, and bruising are common but temporary side effects. Attend follow-up visits with your provider and wear binders, specialized bras, or bandages as directed. Call the office if you have questions while your body heals.
Over the next few weeks and months, as the swelling subsides, you’ll be able to enjoy your new and improved body contours.
